No DX Express Delivery Time Slot
DX Express routes and 2-hour time slots are generated on the morning of delivery. If checking early, please allow until approximately 10:30am. If no time slot has appeared by lunchtime, this normally means there is an operational issue affecting that day’s delivery.
If no 2-hour time slot is generated once the day's routes have been allocated, this normally indicates an operational issue and delivery will not take place that day.
DX will normally automatically reschedule the parcel for the following working day and tracking will update accordingly.
This does not apply to DX Freight references beginning with “L”. DX Freight is an all-day 8am–6pm appointment and no time slot is provided.
“Out for Delivery” Then Scanned Back Into the Depot / Storage
If tracking shows that the parcel has been scanned back into the depot or storage after being out for delivery, it will not be delivered that day. Common reasons include driver availability, route capacity and other local operational issues. No action is required. The parcel will be automatically rescheduled for the following working day and tracking will update once the new delivery has been scheduled.
“DX Has Your Item but There Are Some Delays”
This can indicate a routing issue, misroute or temporary depot hold. In many cases this results in an approximately 24-hour delay before the parcel moves back through the delivery network.
“We Have Received Your Order Details and Are Expecting Your Parcel Shortly”
Initially this can simply mean DX has received the shipment information but has not yet completed its first physical parcel scan.
If the status remains unchanged overnight or for an extended period, it can indicate a missed connection, missort or routing delay. These issues commonly resolve following the next courier scan.
“Scanned 1 of 1 Items Onto Delivery Vehicle”
On DX Freight deliveries this can appear before the actual delivery day. It does not necessarily mean the driver is currently travelling to your address. Please wait for the subsequent out-for-delivery update.
