Loose fibres and stray threads can simply be trimmed with scissors (never pulled) to avoid damage. Synthetic latex backing may create a temporary smell, and wool may have a natural, earthy scent which fades over time. Delivery windows are estimates rather than guaranteed appointments. Traffic, earlier deliveries and operational issues can affect the driver's route.

Larger rugs, commonly including sizes around 200 × 290cm and above, may be sent using DX Freight rather than DX Express.

If no 2-hour time slot is generated once the day's routes have been allocated, this will often indicate an operational issue and delivery may not take place that day.

This can indicate a routing issue, misroute or temporary depot hold. In many cases this results in an approximately 24-hour delay before the parcel moves back through the delivery network.
Initially this can simply mean DX has received the shipment information but has not yet completed its first physical parcel scan.
If the status remains unchanged overnight or for an extended period, it can indicate a missed connection, missort or routing delay. These issues commonly resolve following the next courier scan.
On DX Freight deliveries this can appear before the actual delivery day. It does not necessarily mean the driver is currently travelling to your address. Please wait for the subsequent out-for-delivery update.

The due date is the approximate date the supplier expects to receive stock. It is not a guaranteed stock-arrival, dispatch or home-delivery date.
The date displayed on this product page is updated hourly using the latest information supplied by the manufacturer or supplier. Please monitor the date for your selected rug and size. The date may change after you place your order.
Manufacturing changes, international shipping, route diversions, port or customs delays, split shipments and warehouse processing can affect when stock arrives. Dates may move forward or backward more than once.
Retailers sourcing the same rug from the same supplier work from the same incoming-stock date. No other retailer sourcing that stock will receive it sooner than Rug Love. Other websites may display older information if they have not yet been updated.
A past due date does not confirm that stock has arrived. It may mean the supplier has not yet provided a revised estimate.
Pre-ordering may be paused until the supplier provides an estimated arrival date. Where available, use the “Notify Me” option to request a back-in-stock email.
You can cancel your pre-order yourself at any time before dispatch for a full refund. There is no need to provide a reason, contact Rug Love or wait for our approval.

Chatbot – Paid-in-Full CancellationsOnce cancellation is completed, your refund will be initiated to your original payment method. The time taken for the funds to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.
The self-service pre-order cancellation option applies up to dispatch. Once dispatched, the applicable delivery, cancellation and returns procedures apply. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Existing pre-orders receive priority over new orders. Incoming stock is allocated in date order, from the oldest pre-order to the newest. You do not need to place another order or contact us when stock arrives.
If the supplier receives fewer rugs than expected, there may not be enough stock to fulfil every outstanding pre-order. Orders not fulfilled from that shipment remain pending for the next allocation, unless the customer chooses to cancel.
Stock availability may update before all existing pre-orders have finished being processed. New orders do not take priority over your pre-order.
Very limited stock remains available through the supplier. As supplier stock is shared across retailers, a remaining unit may sell out before your order is allocated. If this happens, we will contact you about waiting for the next shipment or cancelling for a full refund.
Where available, you can pay just 20% when placing your pre-order. Once your rug is in stock and ready for dispatch, we will email you to request the remaining 80% balance.
The balance is not charged automatically. Your order can proceed to dispatch once the outstanding balance has been paid.
Available payment methods may include Klarna, Clearpay, Laybuy, PayPal and standard card payments, subject to availability and provider terms.
The price agreed when you place your pre-order remains your order price. If you secure a promotional price, such as during Black Friday, you keep that price even if the advertised price later increases.
If the advertised price decreases, your existing order price does not change automatically. Please contact us before dispatch if you would like to discuss a price adjustment. Do not cancel and reorder, as this would lose your original place in the allocation queue.
Once the supplier receives stock, existing pre-orders are allocated and processed. Paid-in-full orders proceed to dispatch when ready. Deposit customers receive an email requesting the remaining balance before dispatch.
The estimated stock-arrival date is not your dispatch or delivery date. Once your rug is available and ready, our normal dispatch timeframe is 1–2 working days.
