Every part of our Eco rugs is made from polyester. In terms of durability, polyester fibres are stronger and more durable than cotton. In fact, in comparisons of wear, new Eco rugs with a cotton construction showed that cotton wears out three times faster under the same usage. The use of 100% polyester means a longer lifespan for our rugs and less frequent replacement. Polyester is endlessly recyclable without degradation in quality, giving us the potential to adopt a circular product model in the future. Recycling polyester allows us to extend the life of the materials we use, reducing the demand for new raw materials.
