The Tova Modern Plain Tonal Shimmer Carved Geometric Hi-Low Textured Soft-Touch Mid-Height Polyester Shaggy Ivory Rug combines a soft neutral palette with an eye-catching sculptural texture, featuring an abstract arrangement of large sweeping arches, partial circles, curved lines and overlapping rectangular forms carved directly into the surface rather than created using contrasting colours. This understated geometric design gives the rug a contemporary, almost architectural appearance while allowing its plush texture and versatile neutral colour to take centre stage. The rug is predominantly Warm Ivory, with a subtle Cream undertone that becomes more noticeable within the raised, recessed and shadowed areas of the design; importantly, this is a tonal design and much of the apparent colour variation is created naturally by light, shadow, pile direction and the different heights of the carved surface rather than separate contrasting yarn colours. The combination of fluffy raised pile and shorter carved channels creates genuine three-dimensional definition, so the geometric pattern can appear stronger or more understated as you move around the rug or as the direction and intensity of the light changes.

The colours and shades present in this rug include:

• Cream Undertone – A subtle warmer creamy tone that becomes more noticeable within some areas of the textured and shadowed pile. This is predominantly a result of lighting, fibre direction and the hi-low construction rather than a separate contrasting colour.

Please note: This rug has a polyester shimmer and directional pile, meaning natural pile shading will occur and the colour can appear lighter or darker depending on lighting, viewing angle and how the pile is brushed.
