While beautifully soft and sustainable, this material will shed fibres throughout the lifetime of the rug, and the delicate weave makes it prone to plucks, pulls, and snags. Each Romy rug is handmade, meaning no two are the same, and will feature natural ‘Abrash’ variations in colour, design, size, pattern, yarn texture, and stitching. These imperfections are part of what makes each rug truly unique, with loose threads, mixed colour yarns, and ongoing fibre loss all contributing to its artisan character. Care Tip: if stray fibres appear, simply trim them with scissors (never pull, as this may damage the weave). If you prefer a uniform, flawless appearance, we recommend machine-made synthetic rugs for a more consistent finish. Please note that even if exchanged, a replacement Romy rug will also carry its own natural variations and handmade characteristics, and because these details are clearly provided in advance, we are unable to submit manufacturer defect claims for shedding, plucks, pulls, snags, or fibre loss.
