Important Notes & Care Guidance

• Texture & Durability: Due to its ultra-fine yarn, this acrylic rug feels softer and silkier than polypropylene shaggy rugs and may have a slightly more slippery texture. For very high-traffic areas, we recommend a more robust polypropylene shaggy rug with a hessian backing, such as our Sierra 9000 collection.

• Size Advisory: If purchasing the 80 x 150cm size, please note this is a very small rug – we recommend measuring your space carefully.

• Shedding & Pile Flattening: Plush shaggy rugs naturally shed fibres, especially when new. This is completely normal and does not affect durability. High-pile rugs (4cm and above) will also flatten and matt over time – this is considered a natural characteristic and not a manufacturing fault.

• Sprouting / Pilling: Occasionally, some strands may appear longer than the rest of the pile. Simply trim with sharp scissors (never pull them). This is common in high-pile shaggy rugs and is not a defect.
