Shedding: Plush shaggy rugs will shed fibres — this is completely normal and not detrimental to the rug.

Flattening: All rugs with a high pile will flatten and matt over time, particularly those 4 cm and above. This is not considered a manufacturing fault and is not covered under warranty.

Sprouting/Pilling: Longer strands may occasionally appear — simply trim them with sharp scissors rather than pulling, as pulling can damage the rug. This is common for high-pile rugs and not considered a defect.
Handmade Characteristics:
Each Plush rug is made by hand and is unique, featuring natural variations known as abrash — differences in colour, pattern, size, yarn, stitching, and texture. Stray fibres can be trimmed, and a temporary latex smell may occur but will fade with time. If you prefer a completely uniform appearance, a machine-made rug may be more suitable.
