Important Information:

• Shedding: Plush shaggy rugs will shed fibres – this is completely normal and does not affect the quality of the rug.

• Flattening: All high-pile rugs (4 cm and above) will flatten and matt over time. This is a natural characteristic and not considered a fault.

• Sprouting/Pilling: Longer threads may occasionally appear. Simply trim them carefully with sharp scissors rather than pulling, as pulling may damage the weave.

Handmade Characteristics:
Each rug is hand-finished and unique, with natural variations known as abrash that may include differences in colour, size, and texture. These give every rug its own distinct personality. Any temporary latex odour will dissipate over time. If you prefer a perfectly uniform appearance, a machine-made rug might be a better option.
