While the Olympia range has a smooth, reflective finish, we recommend the following information for all plush, shaggy, or high-pile rugs:

• Shedding: Fibre shedding is completely normal, especially when new.

• Pile Flattening: All rugs with a high pile will experience some flattening and matting over time. This is not considered a manufacturing fault and is not covered by manufacturer warranty. Rugs with a pile height of 4 cm and above will flatten the most.

• Sprouting/Pilling: High-pile rugs (including styles such as Montana, Polar, Sierra 9000, Extravagance, Plush, and Barnaby) may experience sprouting or pilling, where some strands appear longer than others. Simply trim these with sharp scissors rather than pulling, as pulling may damage the rug. Sprouting and pilling are common characteristics of high-pile rugs and are not considered defects.
