Product Description:
Based on traditional Nomadic Persian and Middle Eastern designs, our Nomad range brings traditional elegant designs in a stunning colour palette. Machine-woven in a Wool-Nylon mix with 6mm pile. Suitable for indoor use. Use of rug grip is recommended.
The colours and shades present in this rug include:
Sage Green – Serving as the dominant background tone, this soft, muted green creates a grounding base and gives the rug its earthy, vintage character.
Olive Green – Layered subtly into the design, adding natural depth and enhancing the rustic feel of the pattern.
Ivory – Featured prominently within the central medallion and border, offering a crisp contrast that lightens the overall look.
Soft Beige – Gently blended into the background and border motifs, contributing to a distressed, antique aesthetic.
Coral Red – Used in floral and geometric accents, introducing warmth and energising the design.
Terracotta – Appears in some of the medallion details, harmonising with the coral tones for a cohesive warm effect.
Golden Yellow – Woven into smaller motifs and highlights, adding brightness and a cheerful touch to the palette.
Navy Blue – Found in fine outlining details and floral centres, giving definition and subtle contrast to the softer colours.
Powder Blue – Lightly scattered throughout the motifs, offering a cooling balance and enhancing the vintage charm.
The New Nomad Vintage Green Multicolour Rug showcases a timeless traditional medallion and border design, with a colour palette that feels both rustic and sophisticated. The combination of Sage Green, Olive Green, Ivory, Soft Beige, Coral Red, Terracotta, Golden Yellow, Navy Blue, and Powder Blue creates a balanced, earthy look with subtle pops of colour. Machine-woven in Egypt from a premium blend of 80% wool and 20% nylon, this rug features a Low Profile 6mm textured loop pile with a jute backing, delivering durability and a pleasantly tactile feel underfoot. Perfect for living rooms, dining areas, and hallway runners, this rug brings a sense of warmth and history to your space, pairing beautifully with both neutral and warm wood interiors. For best results, we recommend using a rug grip to prevent movement on hard floors.
🐑 Handmade Wool Rug Characteristics
Our handmade wool rugs are individually crafted, so each one is unique with natural variations known as abrash in colour, size, design, pattern, yarn, stitching, and texture. Shedding is normal and expected with all wool rugs — sometimes lasting for the rug’s entire life — but it does not affect durability. Loose fibres and stray threads can simply be trimmed with scissors (never pulled) to avoid damage. These natural characteristics, along with mixed yarn colours, slight imperfections, and subtle texture differences, add charm and authenticity rather than being faults. Synthetic latex backing may create a temporary smell, and wool may have a natural, earthy scent which fades over time. If you prefer a perfectly uniform look, machine-made synthetic rugs may be more suitable, and any exchange will still have its own unique variations.
