These natural features give every rug its own authentic character and ensure no two are ever identical. Natural plant fibres like Jute, Sisal, and Seagrass may have a mild straw-like aroma when new, which fades with ventilation. Most are latex-free, though any synthetic latex backing can cause a temporary new rug smell.
