Shedding: Important Note
Please note: whilst polyester rugs are not typically renowned for shedding like wool, the Horizon range features a deep, tufted construction with a high, shaggy-like pile. Because of this luxurious plush pile and textured hi-lo surface shedding is normal and expected will may occur throughout the lifetime of the rug, particularly in the raised areas of the hi-lo pile where fibres are longer and softer. This is not a defect and does not affect the durability or performance of the rug. Occasional loose fibres are a natural result of the tufted manufacturing process and plush pile height. Regular vacuuming will easily manage any loose fibres, and these rugs may simply require slightly more frequent vacuuming than low-pile or non-shedding rugs. These characteristics are part of what creates the soft, thick, and luxurious feel underfoot that defines this style of rug. If you prefer a completely non-shedding surface, a low-pile machine-woven rug may be more suitable.
