Product Description:
Hand-woven in India from a luxurious blend of 55% viscose and 45% wool, the Henley Putty Beige/Oyster Cream/Stone Taupe/Warm Sand Rug embodies the perfect balance of soft sheen, natural warmth, and refined texture. Constructed using a hi-low weave with a loop pile wool base and cut pile viscose detailing, it features subtle, irregular linear patterns that gently catch and reflect light. The interplay of fibres creates a beautifully tactile surface that feels smooth yet substantial underfoot — a hallmark of artisanal craftsmanship and timeless modern design. Due to the viscose shimmer and reflective qualities, Henley rugs will appear lighter or darker depending on the viewing angle and how the pile is brushed.
Putty Beige – The dominant tone, offering a warm, versatile foundation that complements both light and dark furnishings.
Oyster Cream – Lightly woven through the viscose highlights, creating a soft shimmer that adds elegance and dimension.
Stone Taupe – Found throughout the wool base, grounding the palette with gentle depth and natural balance.
Warm Sand – Subtly blended across the linear texture, adding a hint of warmth that enriches the rug’s tonal harmony.
Light-Reflective Viscose – The high-shine cut pile creates soft highlights that shift with the light, adding dimension and an elegant sheen without introducing additional colours.
The Henley Putty Beige/Oyster Cream/Stone Taupe/Warm Sand Rug captures understated elegance through its hi-low cut-and-loop texture, where looped wool and silky viscose combine to form its signature irregular linear design. The layered mix of Putty Beige, Oyster Cream, Stone Taupe, and Warm Sand creates a soft, tonal composition that enhances both modern and classic interiors. With a 10mm pile height, this rug offers a luxurious yet practical finish — durable, soft, and gently lustrous. The viscose fibres reflect light delicately, producing subtle tonal shifts depending on your room’s lighting, while the looped wool base introduces texture and structure. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and serene neutral spaces, the Henley Putty brings a sense of calm sophistication, pairing beautifully with natural woods, greys, and layered earthy tones.
🐑 Handmade Wool Rug Characteristics
Our handmade wool rugs are individually crafted, so each one is unique with natural variations known as abrash in colour, size, design, pattern, yarn, stitching, and texture. Shedding is normal and expected with all wool rugs — sometimes lasting for the rug’s entire life — but it does not affect durability. Loose fibres and stray threads can simply be trimmed with scissors (never pulled) to avoid damage. These natural characteristics, along with mixed yarn colours, slight imperfections, and subtle texture differences, add charm and authenticity rather than being faults. Synthetic latex backing may create a temporary smell, and wool may have a natural, earthy scent which fades over time. If you prefer a perfectly uniform look, machine-made synthetic rugs may be more suitable, and any exchange will still have its own unique variations. | Care Instructions | Please use a suction only vacuum cleaner as a beater-bar vacuum cleaner could damage the pile. Do not spill liquids as this will damage the pile. Never rub a spill, only blot with a clean white cotton cloth. If a stain cannot be removed seek specialist advice. Do not machine wash. We recommend the use of an anti-slip pad to reduce trip hazards and protect the floor surface. To protect the colours, keep away from direct sunlight. Keep away from fire. |
