The Flatweave Gel Border Black Rug is a durable, low-maintenance, and great-value flatweave rug engineered to mimic the look of natural sisal, while providing the softer feel, easy cleaning, and resilience of polypropylene. The rug features a built-in anti-slip gel backing, ensuring a secure grip on hard floors with no additional underlay required—ideal for homes with pets, children, or busy footfall. Its 0.2cm low-profile flatweave pile offers excellent practicality, effortless upkeep, and smooth placement under furniture and door frames. Machine-woven in Egypt, it is perfectly suited to hallways, kitchens, utility rooms, porches, conservatories, and any high-traffic space requiring strength and style.

The colours and shades present in this rug include:

• Black – The dominant shade forming the outer border, creating a strong and contemporary frame with a clean, textured flatweave finish.

• Charcoal Grey – Subtly blended into the border and central stripes to add tonal depth, giving the rug dimension and a natural fibre–inspired texture.

• Steel Grey – Woven throughout the striped central field to soften the contrast and create a balanced, modern monochrome effect.

• Light Grey – Used sparingly through the fine detailing to lift the palette and introduce subtle visual variation without overpowering the darker tones.

The Flatweave Gel Border Black Rug pairs a striped sisal-style centre, a deep black border, and an anti-slip gel backing to deliver a stylish, functional, and versatile flatweave design. Lightweight, easy to clean, and built for longevity, it’s an excellent choice for modern interiors seeking a clean monochrome look with everyday practicality. The combination of Black, Charcoal Grey, Steel Grey, and Light Grey makes this rug ideal for contemporary, minimalist, industrial, or neutral décor schemes.
