Product Description:
The 3D Scallop Shaggy Terracotta Rug brings warmth, depth, and dimension to contemporary interiors through its beautifully carved scallop pattern. The combination of Terracotta, Rust Brown, and Beige tones creates an inviting, earthy palette enriched by soft Ivory highlights and grounded by Taupe and Charcoal Grey undertones. The result is a design that feels both bold and balanced, adding organic warmth and sculptural texture to any room.
Crafted in Turkey from 100% polyester yarn, this rug features a luxuriously thick 4 cm shaggy pile that feels irresistibly soft underfoot. The hi-lo carved texture enhances the curved geometry, producing a subtle three-dimensional sheen that changes beautifully with the light. With a dense 1990 GR/M² pile weight and durable, easy-care finish, it’s designed for both comfort and longevity — ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or modern spaces seeking a statement of tactile luxury.
Terracotta – Rich and warm, forming the boldest sections of the scallop design and bringing earthy vibrancy to the composition.
Rust Brown – Adds depth and contrast, balancing lighter areas with a warm, grounding tone.
Beige – Soft and creamy, providing a neutral base that allows the stronger colours to shine.
Ivory – Light and luminous, adding brightness and airy contrast within the scallop arcs.
Taupe – Subtle and sophisticated, woven throughout to harmonise the warm palette.
Charcoal Grey – Darker accents that introduce definition and a cool balance to the warmer hues.
The 3D Scallop Shaggy Terracotta Rug masterfully blends Terracotta, Rust Brown, Beige, Ivory, Taupe, and Charcoal Grey into a cohesive, sculptural design. The carved hi-lo scallop pattern creates a captivating sense of movement and texture, enhanced by the rug’s gentle shimmer and plush feel.
Machine-tufted in Turkey from 100% polyester, it features a 4 cm thick shaggy pile and a 1990 GR/M² density, ensuring both softness and durability. Its easy-clean, low-maintenance fibres make it perfect for everyday living, while its warm, modern tones bring a cosy yet contemporary elegance to any space. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and neutral or warm-toned interiors, this rug combines practical comfort with timeless design flair.
🛋️ Plush Shaggy Rug Characteristics
Our plush shaggy rugs have a luxuriously deep pile and natural traits you should expect. Shedding is normal and does not affect durability. High-pile rugs (4 cm and above) will flatten and matt over time. Shaggy rugs may also show sprouting or pilling, where a few strands sit longer than the rest. Simply trim these with sharp scissors (never pull) to keep your rug looking its best. Our hand-tufted shaggy rugs are individually crafted, so small variations in pile, pattern, or tufting are normal.

| Care Instructions | VACUUMING: It is completely normal for your new rugs to shed fluff at first, this is caused by excess fibres that attach during the spinning process. Once the rug has been vacuumed a few times this will lessen and eventually stop. Regular vacuuming will help to keep your rug looking new for longer and prevent dirt that is on the surface of the rug getting embedded and making it much harder to clean. We would recommend the use of a suction vacuum cleaner to ensure that the pile of the rug isn’t damaged. It is always useful to rotate your rug on a regular basis to even out the wear of the rug or fade if it is in natural sunlight.SPILLS & STAINS: To prevent permanent stains on your rug any spills must be dealt with as soon as they happen. If spills occur, blot up excess with a clean white cloth or paper towel, NB. never rub as this can spread the spill. Working from the outer edge of the stain to the centre, apply appropriate carpet cleaner with a clean cloth. Pat with a paper towel and leave to dry. Vacuum the rug. If stain is still visible repeat the process until the stain is completely removed. If trying to remove the stain yourself doesn’t work contact a professional carpet/rug cleaning company |
